It's Election Day

If you're in Indiana or North Carolina, don't forget to vote today!

Click here if you need help finding your polling place if you're in Indiana.

We're planning on getting ready early and taking the kids for a tag-team voting session. In all honesty, we vote in the gym of Grace Point church around the corner from us and have never had an issue with taking the boys. We are usually in and out and have maybe had to wait for a person or two. We enjoy having the opportunity to vote and like showing our boys what the process is like. Kyle is obviously more in depth with the explanation, but it proves that they're never too young to learn.

until next time...lc

D called his folks to let them know the vote is open to all - reps, independants etc. They thought they wouldn't be able to vote. D & I are currently in shock - his folks agree with us on politics .... huh?? that's NEVER happened before - we like the same candidate ... wowzers!!!

Would love to pick your brain Kyle on the whole thang ....

Love
K & D
ps - I see the gluten-free blog on your side-bar - are you guys or the boys gluten-intolerant?? I am celiac (D isn't - he tried giving up gluten and all he did was lose weight and miss beer and when he went back to it he was fine - me on the other hand would be rolling around on the floor if I eat a grain of gluten)

my explanation isn't necessarily all that more in-depth than laura's. she and i are pretty in-tune with the our candidate choices, which, although not rare, isn't something that happens all the time.

we're not celiac, nor are the boys, thank goodness. tommie and brandie are friends of ours with whom we used to work. i put the link up here just to give them some exposure, and to let anyone who may be celiac that reads our blog know that there are folks out there providing good info on their condition. tommie's celiac, and brandie's such a good wife that she's adopted a gluten-free lifestyle in accordance.

phew - believe me its not something I'd opt to be ... celiac that is ...
Kudos to Brandie for going the gluten-free thang for support - as it involves giving up beer it would be a cold day in Hell before D would follow suit :) (I am fully aware that he loves beer more than me but that's OK he can't help it!!)

I didn't mean that I wouldn't want to hear Laura's take on the whole thing - I've just heard from D how you did politics in college and so I wondered if you knew more about Indy demographics and how they were looking etc.

Fingers crossed ....
(if anyone argues about Obama's electability I think the fact that D's folks are on board speaks volumes!!!!)

yeah, i'd be one sad hombre if i had to forgo beer for a medical condition...it's something i don't think i can fathom.

well, we're at just below 60% reporting, and clinton's in the lead by 8%. should be an interesting evening. what's odd is, as i've put more years behind my college experience, i've allowed my knowledge of political issues slip in an unfortunate fashion. to the point where, at times, i hardly even feel comfortable trying to speak intelligently about things...but, i'm rarely at a loss for an opinion, or just for words, in general, so anything you'd like to ask, i'm sure i'd windbag something together. haha hahahahaaaa...
