I'm posting this as a result of some bizarre, inappropriate onset of insomnia after spending all day at King's Island. We closed the park out tonight, so I have no earthly business still being awake; however, I am, and I'm going to make a quick post about the vacation to-date.
French Lick was very nice, filled with plenty of pool time, relaxation, pony rides, goat feeding and spa visitations. Laura even scored a bit in the casino, which was a welcomed, if unexpected, surprise. Our day at the cave and the Kentucky Horse Park was a blast, as was our day at Holiday World (which we also enjoyed until it's close). Our day today was a juggle, ending with us spending the day at King's Island, as noted above, but it, too, was an absolute riot. The boys have done SO WELL considering how much we've jostled their schedules and have kept them in near-perpetual motion. Tomorrow is another day at KI, but sadly, our last day of vacation. We've packed this trip so full of fun, memories, and pictures, and I can't wait to get on here and share them all with everyone!
I should get to bed, as I'll likely regret being up this late tomorrow at wake-up time. Check back for additional posts, including pictures, in the coming days and weeks.
